²⁷ And when he expressed a wish to cross over to Achaia, the brethren encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there, asking that they make him welcome. From the time of his arrival, he was of great help to those who by the grace of God had become believers. ²⁸ For he vigorously refuted the Jews in public, establishing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.
